Scare Tactic

The upside to residing in Battleground Pennsylvania (The Key to the 2024 Election) is that my vote truly counts. The downside is that the same political ads repeat and repeat every thirty minutes on TV. At 6:29:00, we learn that Border Czar Kamala personally allowed millions of illegals into the country. At 6:29:30, we learn that Donnie wants all women barefoot and pregnant. Scare tactics abound.

There are some real scare tactics in Portage County, Ohio. County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski is seeking re-election. Sheriff Bruce doesn’t have money for TV ads, so he posted the following on his professional and personal Facebook accounts:

“I say … write down all the addresses of the people who have Harris signs in their yards! That way when undocumented immigrants flood in like locusts, we’ll already have the addresses of their New families … who supported their arrival!”

Guess what? Sheriff Bruce is a Republican. Note that he limits himself to single exclamation points. Only Donnie (praise and glory to His Name) is allowed triple exclamation points.

Did Sheriff Bruce’s scare tactic work? Many Ohioans removed their Harris signs fearing vandalism. It’s unlikely that Sheriff Bruce would respond to a vandalism complaint.

My home proudly sports the only Harris sign on our street. Good thing we don’t reside in Portage County, Ohio or we would be on Sheriff Bruce’s “Do Not Respond” list. I would think twice about a Harris sign if I lived there. Scare tactics work.
