Foreign Army

People residing in the leafy suburbs love to be frightened. Who knows what those strange people that moved in down the street and wear hockey masks or have “knife” fingers are up to? That’s the reason why every summer brings a new “Friday the Thirteenth” or “Nightmare on Elm Street” movie.

Our Boy Donnie tapped in to those fears with this ominous message on Truth Social last week.

“In Michigan, radical, left Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer is handing out $500 a month in cash to anyone who accepts illegal aliens into your homes. Isn’t that nice? She’s calling the scam the Newcomer Rental Subsidy. In other words, she’s calling illegal immigrants — many coming from jails, many coming from mental institutions, many are terrorists — she’s calling them newcomers, isn’t that wonderful? And it’s all funded by federal taxpayer dollars distributed by crooked Joe Biden … Biden and Whitmer are selecting and stealing your money to give free housing to illegal alien migrants and then asking you to quarter these foreign armies. And that’s what they are, they’re armies.”

Holy Crap! Those foreign-looking people who moved in with the old retired lady down the block are terrorist jailbirds from a foreign mental institution! She won’t survive to spend that $500 per month that is coming out of my hard-earned taxes. Damn you, Crooked Joe Biden!

That “foreign army” of illegals “invading” Michigan and hauling in that cool $500 per month for housing actually consists of 485 families with 1,242 members, all of whom are in America legally and none of whom have pending asylum cases. The numbers break down like this:

  • 537 refugees.
  • 504 Afghans who arrived under Operation Allies Welcome.
  • 69 with special immigrant visas (individuals from Iraq or Afghanistan who worked for the U.S. government).
  • 61 U.S. citizens (children born to immigrant families after arriving in the United States).
  • 35 Ukrainians granted humanitarian parole.
  • 24 asylees (asylum approved and legally in the country).
  • 7 Haitian entrants.
  • 5 with lawful permanent residence.

Don’t let the facts interfere with a good scare tactic, Donnie. Nearly half of that “foreign army” got its training working for the US Army in Afghanistan. Should we have left those poor souls to the tender mercies of the Taliban?

Donnie’s “foreign army” is about as real as Freddie Krueger or Jason Voorhees. But the folks on Truth Social or Fox News believe it.
