The market value of X (formerly Twitter) is now about 25% of what it was before Elon Musk took over. Maybe cutting 60% of X’s workforce thus reducing reliability and oversight was not a great idea. Elon must have been distracted while campaigning with his pal Donnie.

On-line trolls have free rein on X. Anti-semitic trolls are feasting on the tragedy that is Hurricane Helene. Their posts drew 17.1 million views while FEMA’s posts on X drew a paltry 2.6 million. The trolls claim that Jewish officials orchestrated the disaster, sabotaged its recovery, and hope to seize victim’s property. That’s right in line with Marjorie Taylor Greene’s theory that the Democratic Party magically ran Helene through Trump-supporting areas and Donnie’s claim that FEMA has no money because Kamala gave it all to the illegal, pet-eating aliens taking over your hometown.

A troll’s post featured a photo of FEMA administrator Jaclyn Rothenberg, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer with each labeled “JEW”. Rothenberg received so much electronic hate mail that she closed her account. A typical one read, “You think you can hide your evil work behind your nose.” Nazis famously depicted Jews with large noses. Apparently, this trope did not die with Hitler. Jabs directed at Manheimer read, “Like all Jews, you truly hate America.”

In other words, government is bad. FEMA can confiscate your property. It is all controlled by the Jewish Deep State.

I am not a Social Media person. I’ve never been on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok or any of the others. If I was on X and saw this crap, I would bail out just like more than half of Twitter subscribers have since Elon took over. Only Donnie could run two Atlantic City casinos into the ground. Only Elon could run Twitter into the ground. Birds of a feather…
