A True Romantic

Say what you will about Donnie, but the man is a true romantic.

He published “This Is A Valentine’s Day Letter From Donald J. Trump” on Truth Social this week. It reads (comments in parentheses are mine):

Dear Melania:

I love you! (Exclamation point but not in CAPS like his truly heartfelt posts)

Even after every single indictment, arrest, and witch hunt, you never left my side. You’ve always supported me through everything. (Hallmark needs a V-Day card with this sentiment. It will be a big seller at the prison card shop)

I wouldn’t be the man I am today without your guidance, kindness, and warmth. You will always mean the world to me, Melania! (Donnie must have been a real dick when he was married to Ivana and Marla. Melania turned him around into the warm, kind guy he is today.)

From your husband with love, Donald J. Trump (You remember me, don’t you? The guy who is either freezing in Iowa and New Hampshire or glowering at a judge in a courtroom? Your husband that you never see, Donald J. Trump?)

Donnie being Donnie, the post included three big red buttons allowing readers to “send a personalized message to Melania” and to donate to Trump’s campaign:

$20.24 (Get it? That’s this year!)

$3,300 (This may get you a personalized reply from Melania herself (or someone using her computer))

A true romantic, but also a savvy businessman. That’s what we need in the White House.
